Refund & Cancellation Policy
Fourteen days to change your mind on your first paid term, no questions asked.
Last updated: 6 September 2026
The short version. If AccessPulse is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. After that first term, fees are not refundable — but nothing renews on its own, so there is never a charge to stop.
1. The 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are paying for AccessPulse for the first time, you may ask for a full refund within 14 calendar days of the date we received your payment. You do not need to give a reason.
For a card payment that date is the date of the payment itself, which is the date on your tax invoice. For a bank transfer it is the date the funds reached us, which may be a day or two after you sent them.
This applies once per customer, to your first paid term only — monthly or yearly. It does not apply to renewals, to a second subscription after a lapse, or to an upgrade part-way through a term.
We ask for the refund request in writing, from the email address on the account, so that we have a record of who asked and when. Email kavithalayaventures@gmail.com.
2. After the first 14 days
Beyond the guarantee window, fees already paid are not refundable, including for the unused remainder of a term. This is normal for subscription software, where the cost of providing the service is incurred whether or not you use it.
You keep what you have paid for. Cancelling does not cut your service short: the widget continues working until your expiry date, plus the seven-day grace period described below.
Why yearly plans are not refunded pro-rata
A yearly subscription is billed for eleven months and delivers twelve — the discount is applied up front rather than at the end. There is therefore no clean "unused portion" to return: you have already received the benefit of the free month from day one. If you want the flexibility to stop mid-term, choose monthly billing.
3. What happens when a subscription ends
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Up to your expiry date | Everything works normally. You have paid for this period. |
| Seven days after expiry | A grace period. The widget keeps working on your sites, so a late renewal or a missed email never takes accessibility away from your visitors without warning. |
| After the grace period | The widget stops appearing on your sites. Your account, your sites and your settings are retained, so renewing later restores everything as it was. |
Your website itself is never affected. The widget is a script you include; when a subscription lapses it simply stops rendering. Nothing on your pages breaks, and removing the script tag is entirely your decision.
4. How to cancel
There is nothing to cancel. Each payment buys one term outright — one month or one year — and nothing renews on its own. We store no card and set up no mandate or standing instruction, so there is no recurring charge that could continue after you stop wanting the service.
If you do not want to carry on, simply do not renew. The subscription runs to its expiry date, then through the seven-day grace period described above, and then stops. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period, and no form to fill in.
If you would prefer to tell us, we are glad to hear why — kavithalayaventures@gmail.com — but it changes nothing about the billing.
5. Invoices
Every payment produces a GST tax invoice, issued in our own consecutive series and emailed to the address on the account as a PDF. The same document can be downloaded again at any time from Manage Subscription in your account, and it is byte-for-byte the file that was emailed — so it is safe to forward to an accountant who asks whether it is the original.
Prices are shown and charged inclusive of GST. The invoice sets out the taxable value and the tax separately, and the two add up exactly to the amount you were charged.
If you gave us a GSTIN when you paid, it appears on the invoice so the tax is claimable as input credit. If you did not, the invoice is issued without one, and we cannot add it afterwards to an invoice already issued — a corrected invoice would need a credit note and a reissue, which we will do if you ask.
6. How refunds are paid
- Refunds are returned by the same route the payment arrived. A card payment is refunded to the same card through our payment provider; a bank transfer is returned by bank transfer. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card or account, because doing so is indistinguishable from a payout to a stranger.
- We aim to process an approved refund within 7 business days of agreeing it. A card refund is then typically with your bank in five to seven working days; how quickly it shows on your statement is up to them, not us.
- Refunds are made in the currency you paid in. We do not carry exchange-rate movement: if you paid in one currency and ask to be refunded in another, you receive the converted amount at the rate on the day, less any bank charges.
- Where GST was charged, the refund includes it, and we issue a credit note against the original tax invoice so your own records reconcile. Indian GST rules require that credit note, so it is not optional and you do not need to ask for it.
7. What is not refundable
- Renewal terms, once the term has begun.
- Partial months or unused time after the guarantee window.
- Bespoke work — custom development, onboarding, integration or training delivered at your request.
- Add-ons already provided, such as white-label branding or footer removal, for the term in which they were supplied.
- Amounts owed where an account was suspended for breach of the Terms & Conditions — for example installing the widget on domains you are not authorised to manage, or reselling the service without a partner agreement.
8. If something is wrong with the service
The guarantee above is for changing your mind. It is separate from, and does not limit, your rights if the service does not work as described.
If AccessPulse is not functioning correctly, tell us and we will fix it. If we cannot make it work for you, we will discuss a fair resolution, which may include a refund of the affected period — whether or not you are still inside the 14 days. Please raise problems with us first: most turn out to be a configuration detail we can sort out quickly, such as a site key registered against the wrong domain.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes rights you have by law, and where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.
- India. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and related rules are unaffected.
- European Union and EEA. Consumers buying at a distance normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Our guarantee is designed to match that period. Note this right generally applies to consumers rather than to businesses buying for business purposes.
- Elsewhere. Any mandatory consumer protection in your jurisdiction continues to apply.
10. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and freezes the amount while it runs; an email usually resolves the same question in a day. We would rather refund you directly than argue through an intermediary.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version that applies to a payment is the one published when that payment was made, so a change never reduces the rights attached to a term you have already paid for. The date at the top shows when this page last changed.
